A warm welcome to the 1st Issue of Kuoni Destination Management's
e-newsletter!
A total of six issues are planned for the year 2008 where we highlight our
key achievements and keep you up to date on the latest news in the world of
Kuoni Destination Management. The topics featured will be based on our
fields of expertise being Leisure Travel, Meetings & Incentives,
Congress, Sports Events, Cruises and FIT.
We boast a Global Network of over 60 offices worldwide with a strong
presence in Europe, Asia, North America, East and Southern Africa, India
and the Middle East. Our latest achievement consists of the opening of a
second DMC Office in Austria making the KDM Network one of the largest
Global DMC Networks in the world!

Kuoni Named the Official Accommodation Agency for the UEFA EURO
2008
|
 Kuoni Destination Management's main highlight in 2008
is its role as the official UEFA EURO 2008 Accommodation Agency. Kuoni is
responsible for handling all accommodation requirements for the UEFA EURO
2008 SA and their target groups such as the official sponsors, corporate
hospitality clients, the media and the National teams.

New DMC Office in Innsbruck, Austria
|
 Kuoni Destination Management continues to expand: a new
branch office will open in Innsbruck
on November 26, 2007. The new office will be the second office in the
country, after Vienna. Its opening underlines the strategic importance of
the destination Austria and in particular the Tyrolean region, for Kuoni
Destination Management's sports (as the official accommodation agency for
the UEFA EURO 2008), meeting, incentive, conference and event business as
well as for congresses.

 Private Safaris, a strategic business unit of Kuoni
Destination Management, opened a new office in Windhoek,
Namibia
on October 03, 2007. After Nairobi, Mombasa, Arusha and Cape Town
this is Private Safaris' 5th office in Southern and Eastern Africa.

 As of January 01, 2008 Kuoni Destination Management
will expand its activities into China, by integrating the existing inbound
operations of Kuoni Travel (China) Ltd, a Hong Kong subsidiary of the Kuoni
Travel Group, which operates under the brand of S.K.Y. Travel.

 The EIBTM 2007 taking place in Barcelona is just around the corner! As

Kuoni Destination Management India Awarded Best Inbound Tour
Operator
|
 Kuoni Destination Management India was adjudged the
Best Inbound Tour Operator at the Abacus-TAFI Awards at the TAFI
International Travel Convention 2007 at Kota Kinabalu on the 8th September.
It is for the first time that this Award has been instituted and its
results were much awaited. Present for the ceremony were dignitaries from
the Malaysia Tourism Ministry and other members of the travel and tourism
industry from India.
