Swaziland

Coach / Cars

There is a fairly efficient network of bus services that connect the different towns and cities within the country which are quite economical and regular. Minibus taxis usually cover shorter routes at prices a little higher than the buses. Road conditions in general are good – driving is moderately safe though the roads can become pretty circuitous in the hilly areas. Cars can be rented from rental companies in the main urban centres.

Air

Swaziland’s international terminal, Matsapha Airport is a short distance from Manzini. The national carrier Royal Swazi National Airways Corporation flies to and from many destinations in Africa and some places in Europe.

Train

Direct train connections are available between Swaziland, South Africa (Johannesburg, Durban) and Mozambique (Maputo). The Royal Swazi Express takes a leisurely four days to travel to Johannesburg; bookings must be made well ahead of time as the service operates five times a year only
