Calcutta

Calcutta is the capital city of the Indian state of West Bengal. It is situated on the east bank of the River Hooghly in the southeastern portion of the state. With a population of more than 13 million, metropolitan Kolkata is the second-largest urban agglomeration and the fourth-largest city in India.
